Changing Things Up

It's pretty obvious that I've fallen off of the everyday posting bandwagon... I do promise, though, that there's a reason. I love and adore taking photos. It's far and away one of my favorite things to do. I'm starting to think in frames... that is, I see something and mentally frame it as a shot. (This could be a sickness.) But I do. I love it.

However, with that has come the realization that the everyday posting was becoming a chore, rather than being something I look forward to. I've still been faithfully taking pictures every day; there hasn't been a day since January 1 that I haven't picked up my camera to shoot a picture. And I'm going to continue to do it every day. It's the uploading, cropping, resizing, editing portion of the situation that was starting to feel like more of a chore than I could handle; I do still take care of my two daughters full time, all the time, and sometimes at the end of the day I like to sit down with my husband and just SIT and visit without having to rush off the upload photos. (Sit and visit and watch Lonesome Dove, I mean. Because I'm now obsessed with Lonesome Dove. GO FORTH AND WATCH IT.) There are more important things that need to take precedence, and sometimes down time is one of those things.

I'll still be taking pictures every day; my commitment to the 365 Project is still very much there. But I'm just making it work for me the best way I can.
